This is a hands on leadership role rather than a desk based one. You'll own the day to day running of the department, but the real value you bring is in how you lead people. The business wants someone who can build a strong, consistent team culture, keep standards high and bring genuine organisation to a busy production environment.

Working Hours:

Salary:

  • £35,000 to £42,000

Duties of the Production Manager:

  • Taking full ownership of day to day production across a team of 10, including shift leaders, operators and quality control staff
  • Leading, coaching and developing the team to build a high performing, engaged production operation
  • Managing production planning to ensure output, quality and efficiency targets are consistently met
  • Overseeing process standards to ensure consistent product quality
  • Monitoring key performance indicators including productivity, downtime, scrap and cost, and driving improvement where required
  • Working closely with the maintenance team to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime
  • Ensuring full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards across the department
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement across the site

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
