Description
Premier League Studios are looking for a Production Manager to join the Programming team, supporting the planning, delivery and day-to-day management of a number of Programmes made for Premier League rights holders worldwide.
Reporting to the Production Executive, the Production Manager will support the Programming team across all stages of production, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule and within budget. Working closely with the Editorial teams they will help coordinate resources, manage timelines and maintain clear communication throughout the production process.

Our hybrid-working model also allows you some variety on your place of work, offering you the chance to work from home on some days each week, where possible. You will be expected to attend the office or site visits in line with our company policy. All staff liaise closely with their line manager to manage their time appropriately and according to their work and team requirements.
The Role
- Creating, managing and reporting on budgets
- Booking and scheduling technical facilities, edits, audio and post production
- Organising and booking crew for shoots worldwide
- Experience of getting carnets and visas for travel
- A good understanding of archive clearance procedures
- Arranging necessary logistics for any equipment hires required
- Supporting the Editorial teams
- Working with in-house legal teams to ensure suppliers are contracted and compliant
- Ensure IR35 rules are adhered to
- Approving timesheets and invoices, raising PO’s and monitoring team expenses
- Supervise day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running of the department
- Ensure team compliance with health & safety, safeguarding etc and perform risk assessments when needed
- Managing and approving team overtime, ensuring compliance with working hours policies
- Completing Albert paperwork and using creative thinking to drive forward Premier League Studios sustainability goals
- Problem solving day-to-day issues that arise

Requirements For The Role
- Previous experience working as a Production Manager, ideally within a programming or broadcast production environment.
- Experience working on international productions, with an understanding of health and safety requirements, visa processes and transport logistics.
- Negotiation – being comfortable with negotiating and managing a range of suppliers and freelancers.
- Good understanding of relevant laws i.e. Health & Safety, Data Protection, Contractual, Compliance, Copyright etc.
- Delegation – appropriately distributing tasks between the production team.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and financial acumen.
