Salary: GBP55,000 : GBP58,000

Job Type: Full:Time, Permanent

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead and oversee all production activities within a fast:paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands:on leader who is passionate about operational excellence, continuous improvement, and developing high:performing teams.

Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently, safely, and cost:effectively while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise production schedules, resources, and capacity.
  • Drive operational performance through KPI monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production teams to maximise productivity and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
  • Oversee performance management, training, and employee development.
  • Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance.
  • Prepare operational reports and implement improvement plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Production Manager within manufacturing.
  • Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and 6S.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, SAP, or other ERP systems.
  • Track record of delivering operational KPI targets.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and problem:solving abilities.
