Kinetic are recruiting Manufacturing Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established and expanding manufacturing business based in St Helens.
Production Manufacturing Operative
Part of a successful & growing group specialising in bespoke equipment for telecoms networks, our client has built an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking for Production Operatives to join their busy manufacturing team.
Role Overview:
- Join a fast-paced but supportive production environment
- Work as part of a team manufacturing specialist cabinets and components
- Ensure products are prepared and completed to the required quality standards, production procedures and customer specifications before progressing to the next stage of manufacture

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Understand and follow route cards and production instructions
- Select the correct PEM inserts for individual jobs
- Safely set pressure levels on the Haeger insert machine according to the PEM inserts being used
- Carry out manual handling tasks, moving materials safely and efficiently
- Ensure machinery is kept clean, functional and well maintained
- Assist with stock control and inventory management
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment
- Work closely with the Line Manager and Supervisor, reporting any issues promptly and contributing ideas for improvement
- Follow all company health & safety procedures and compliance requirements
Key Skills & Experience:
- Good mathematical skills and confidence working with measurements
- Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- A positive attitude and strong team-working skills
- Good communication skills
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- Previous manufacturing or production experience would be advantageous
The Package:
- £12.72 per hour
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm
- Permanent position
- Pay review following successful completion of probation
