Role Title: Production / Manufacturing Technician

Location: Portside, Bristol

Role Overview

We are looking for a Production-focused Technician with strong experience working in a shift-based manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for overseeing production activities, managing a small team of AM Technicians, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are met within a 24-hour manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern.
  • Work both day and night shifts as part of the rotating schedule:
    • 4 days: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM - 4 days off
    • 4 nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM - 4 days off
  • Lead and manage 2 Additive Manufacturing (AM) Technicians during each shift.
  • Coordinate daily production activities and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Monitor production progress and ensure targets and deadlines are achieved.
  • Provide a clear and accurate handover to the incoming shift.
  • Maintain continuity of production across the client's 24-hour manufacturing cycle.
  • Ensure production activities follow relevant work instructions, procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Identify and resolve production issues and escalate technical or operational problems when required.
  • Support and guide technicians to ensure work is completed to the required standard.
  • Maintain accurate production and shift records.
  • Promote a strong safety, quality, and continuous-improvement culture.
