PRODUCTION MERCHANDISER - RETAIL

GLOUCESTERSHIRE - HYBRID - 12-MONTH FTC

UP TO £43,000 DOE

Are you a Production Merchandiser based in Gloucestershire, looking for a new role? Do you have experience managing a team?

This role is ideal for an experienced production professional, looking for their next step within the apparel industry. You should hold experience with overseas suppliers, strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to handle challenging lead times.

The role:

  • Manage a small team, ensuring all lead times and dates are negotiated where available
  • Ensure adherence to the buying calendar and alignment with other offices
  • Maintaining strong relationships with partners
  • Work closely with planning to monitor supplier orders in line with demands
  • Managing supplier contracts, including payment terms, debits and discounts
  • Support the Purchasing and Sourcing teams to deliver key strategies
  • Manage and develop your team to support their professional growth
  • Identify new opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements

Experience and skills:

  • At least 4 years industry experience
  • Knowledgeable in the buying cycle and pathway
  • Experience working on a global supply base across various categories
