An opportunity for a Production MIG Welder within a well-established fabrication and sheetmetal company in Nelson, Lancashire.

The Company:

Established in 2003, this family run Group employs approximately 35 employees. Their teams provide an all-round design, laser, fold, and fabrication service to a broad customer base.

Due to continued growth and winning some long-term contracts they are looking for Production Welders to join a small friendly Fabrication team.

Role: PRODUCTION WELDER

  • Must have MIG manufacturing experience.
  • Be physically fit
  • Have experience of producing small and large fabrications to an accurate standard
  • Ability to lay out and mark dimensions and reference lines to a high standard
  • Safe use of power tools e.g., grinder, pistol drill, tapping drill
  • Ability to work to a production pace within a factory setting
  • There may be some JIG work to help improve production efficiency
  • Ability to communicate, ask questions and discuss any issues which may cause production delays
  • Update computer records and complete timesheets

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 16:30
  • Friday 8:00am - 14:00
  • Overtime Available

Starting Rate: £15-16 per hour

Benefits:

  • 30 Days Leave (+1 After 5 years)
