Job Title

This position will oversee the end-to-end production and operational flow of Maharishi’s collections, working cross-functionally to ensure product is developed, produced and delivered efficiently and on schedule.

The role will manage a Senior Production Coordinator and work closely with teams across the business and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end production and operational flow of product, from collection development and sampling through to production, warehousing, fulfilment and delivery across wholesale, retail and eCommerce.
  • Work closely with Merchandising, Design, Buying, Wholesale, Retail and Accounts to align collection, production and operational requirements.
  • Review collection development at key stages to ensure rangeplan boxes are correctly fulfilled and all product categories are covered.
  • Create and manage critical paths, coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure production, sampling and delivery deadlines are met.
  • Ensure timely handover of collection for sampling with feedback from internal stakeholders.
  • Engage with partnerships team to schedule development and production, ensuring that all special projects are incorporated to critical path.
  • Manage final wholesale and retail order books, including MOQ reviews, proposed cancellations and top-ups, presenting the consolidated order book to the Managing Director for approval.
  • Oversee purchasing strategy for fabrics, trims, raw materials and finished goods, balancing lead times, MOQs, cash flow, production requirements and warehouse capacity.
  • Review target costs, margins and production requirements throughout the development process, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage warehousing, inventory, logistics and fulfilment, including international shipping, customs, duties and seasonal stock transfers to the New York City store.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics partners, monitoring service levels and negotiating costs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and asset records across all locations using NetSuite, including reconciliations and stocktakes.
  • Maintain an overview, with an eye on efficiency, of the storage of materials and goods.
  • Monitor production, freight, warehousing and operational costs, identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, systems and weekly/seasonal reporting, and facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to ensure clear communication and accountability.

  • 8+ years of experience within a similar role in the fashion industry.
  • High admin efficiency / attention to detail. Ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
  • Experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite, preferred.
  • Confident, communicative and collaborative approach to work.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • AI fluency desired, with a strong understanding of how to use AI tools to improve efficiency, workflows, reporting and decision-making.
  • The role reports directly into the MD and so communicating and reporting directly to management is essential.
