THE ROLE
As a Production Operations Manager at The Midnight Club, you'll play a key role in ensuring our production teams are set up to deliver exceptional work. Working closely with the senior Production team and wider Operations team, you'll coordinate team resourcing, monitor capacity across projects and help ensure the department is operating efficiently day-to-day and planning effectively for the future.
You'll be at the centre of our production operation, balancing multiple priorities, anticipating resource challenges and helping solve problems before they impact delivery. You'll also ensure the consistent use of our project management and resource planning tools, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and supports better decision-making across the business.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Coordinate day-to-day resource planning across production teams, ensuring projects are appropriately staffed.
- Work closely with the senior Production team and project leads to understand upcoming resource requirements and identify capacity challenges.
- Monitor team utilisation and provide visibility of workload, helping balance resources across multiple projects.
- Maintain accurate resource plans, schedules and project management systems to support effective delivery.
- Support freelance planning by tracking requirements, availability and onboarding alongside the Operations team.
- Have a strong understanding of production timelines and workflows in order to proactively identify scheduling conflicts and delivery risks.
- Help maintain financial oversight by supporting project tracking, freelancer forecasting and resource reporting.
- Ensure the consistent use of project management and resource planning tools, helping improve ways of working across the department.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline operational processes and increase efficiency.
- Build strong relationships across the business to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery.
ABOUT YOU
- 2-4 years' experience in a creative agency, production company or fast-paced studio environment.
- Experience coordinating resources, schedules or projects across multiple teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with planning tools, schedules and operational systems.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to anticipate challenges before they become issues.
- Comfortable working with production timelines, budgets and changing priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Passionate about helping creative teams do their best work through strong operational support.
