About The Role

This Production Operative role in Nottingham offers a temporary contract with Manpower UK, paying up to £13.45 hourly, plus shopping discounts, canteen access, and a staff shop. Based in Beeston, duties include moving stock along lines, keeping stations supplied, operating machinery, and completing quality checks.

Applicants must work a full three-shift rotation: mornings (06:00–13:30), afternoons (13:30–22:00), and nights (22:00–06:00). Reliability, attention to detail, and machine-monitoring ability suit this position. Ongoing work brings strong temp-to-perm prospects, with earnings rising once fully skilled. LOCATION:

Beeston, Nottingham

PAY:

£13.45/hr, potential to earn extra once fully skilled

HOURS:

8 hours shift rotation

  • 06:00am- 13:30pm - Mornings
  • 13:30pm- 22:00pm - Afters
  • 22:00pm-06:00am - Nights

Applicants must be able to do the full rotation.

DURATION:

Ongoing, strong temp-perm and long term opportunities

What You Will Be Doing

  • Aid movement of stock across the line and ensure all stations are topped up.
  • Operate and monitor machines to ensure efficient production processes.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on products to maintain high standards.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
  • Document production data and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Rework when required

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment or strong transferrable skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
