Working as part of our existing production team, we require a production operative to work within our shifts to support, monitor and meet production requirements and make a positive contribution to the Company's future growth. Production currently operates on a shift pattern which will be discussed further at the screening process – this will require weekend work, so flexibility is important.

Salary ranges from £12.71 - £12.90

Responsibilities

The Role

  • Accurately scanning raw materials and finished goods into and out of production areas.
  • Following strict stock rotation procedures to maintain product freshness and compliance.
  • Monitoring production yields and investigating any variances or issues.
  • Handling and scanning pallets for traceability and inventory control.
  • Organising and stacking products correctly in chilled storage areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Participating in regular stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Selecting and preparing customer orders according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Loading products into containers for dispatch, ensuring secure and hygienic transport.
  • Verifying order accuracy prior to shipment to meet customer expectations.
  • Completing clerical and administrative tasks related to product dispatch and logistics.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively;
  • Experience of accurate record keeping;
  • Good level written and verbal English.
