About The Role
Working as a Production Operative in Telford, you will join a team based in Stafford Park, earning £12.71 per hour with a pay increase after twelve weeks. This full-time, temporary-to-permanent contract requires availability from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with an immediate start. The position is physically demanding, involving heavy lifting and manual tasks such as unloading pallets, wrapping panels, and cutting steel components. Full training is provided for operating machinery. Additional duties include general warehouse upkeep and ensuring safe stock handling. The Role
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and manual work. Your duties will include:
- Unloading pallets and putting stock away
- Wrapping, stacking, and storing panels
- Measuring, strapping, and cutting steel parts
- Operating machinery – full training will be provided
- General warehouse and production duties
- Ensuring stock is handled and stored safely
About You
The Successful Candidate Will
- Be comfortable with heavy lifting and manual work
- Be able to use and read a tape measure (millimetres)
- Have a good attitude and willingness to learn
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be comfortable working as part of a busy team
- Forklift licence is desirable, but not essential
