π Working Hours
- Monday to Wednesday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 1:00pm
π Contract: 12-month temporary assignment with the potential to become permanent
About The Role
We're currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Groby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on production experience who is looking for a long-term role with the possibility of securing a permanent position.
As part of the production team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards while working in a safe and efficient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out production tasks in line with work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
- Perform quality inspections and report any faults, defects, or non-conformances
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes, tools, and equipment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets and quality standards

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work to established procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
