Job Description:
Position Title: CNC Operative
Location: Ballymoney
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
Hours of work: 39 hours
We require driven and enthusiastic Team Members who are capable of working in a busy team orientated environment where we manufacture parts for mobile screening equipment and environmental equipment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Understand technical plans and be capable of working out measurements
- Processing and preparing raw steel for production on your assigned machine
- Meet production targets while maximising efficiency
- Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts; manually, via crane and or lifting equipment
- Ensure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times demonstrating our commitment to Zero Harm
- Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
- In this role you may also be required to operate a fork-lift truck/combi lift truck pending training
The Person:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong communication skills
- Have a proactive approach to problem solving
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Ability to work under pressure and be fully dependable and reliable
- Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision
