Location: Portsmouth

Pay Rate: £13.58 per hour

Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 | Friday 08:00 – 15:30 (Early Finish)

Position Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Agency Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out the detagging of precision-engineered components to set quality standards.
  • Performing part counts and final inspections before booking orders to processing sections.
  • Managing drying operations following established setting sheets and procedures.
  • Conducting thorough 100% inspections on finished piece parts to ensure exact specifications.
  • Assisting with broader shop-floor support, including material replenishment, swarf disposal, and maintaining strict Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Prior experience handling or inspecting small components.
  • High attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.
  • Ability to strictly follow standard operating procedures.
  • Reliable team player with strong self-initiative.
