Role Description
What you become part of:
Bradford site is the largest drinks operation within Princes producing a mix of Dilute to Taste (DTT), Carbonated (CSD) and Ready to drink soft drinks.
Bradford is also home to Capri Sun producing all their varieties supplying the UK and Europe.
Principal Responsibilities
- Passionate about the H&S of yourself and colleagues highlighting any concerns through raising Hazards & Near misses
- Ensure product quality is optimised through carrying out and documenting regular checks on paperwork and integrated IT systems
- Maintains Food Safety and Hygiene Standards through adopting and using Good Manufacturing Practices
- Once trained - Operate and maintain production line assets across site
- Actively support line/product changeovers
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills within your team and other functions.
- Accurately complete all reporting and recording procedures applicable to designated tasks.
- Understand site KPI’s and own role in delivering them
- Complete basic machine asset care
- Challenge the Status Quo – Look at all opportunities to improve performance
- Monitor, control and look to improve all waste streams within your control – Product/Time etc
- Open to developing new skills and competencies

General Responsibilities
- Understand and take an active role in site Operational Excellence including 5S, AM and Practical Problem Solving (PPS) to drive continuous improvement activity throughout the site
- Demonstrate behaviours which are in line with the site values & help to improve the Quality, Safety & Environmental culture.
- Support the business in working towards delivering our ethical trading and human rights vision.
- When engaging with internal and external stakeholders (such as consumers, customers or suppliers) maximise any potential opportunities to communicate Princes’ ethical trade and human rights approach.
- Supporting other teams improvement plans by completing tasks required, be part of the bigger picture in driving improvement in site KPI performance
These are a number of key daily tasks and is not comprehensive. Flexibility may be required by the business & this will be agreed with the individual’s line manager
Role Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience – Desirables
- Experience of working in FMCG environment
- Understanding of factory safety and hygiene procedures
- Understanding of continuous improvement work practices
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative
- To work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
