Production Operative (Industrial Environment)
Location: Hyde
Pay Rate: £13-£14 per hour
Job Type: Temporary with the potential to go Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:30am - 18:30pm
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy industrial site based in Hyde. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term career prospects for reliable and hardworking candidates.
The role involves operating and maintaining machinery as part of the production process, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring machinery safely and efficiently
- Setting up machinery and ensuring it is running correctly
- Making basic machine adjustments where required
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Loading raw materials into machines and handling finished goods
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
- Reporting any faults or issues with machinery promptly
- Supporting other areas of production when required

Requirements
- Previous experience in a machine operator or industrial environment is desirable
- Experience operating machinery is preferred (full training can be provided)
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Able to carry out manual handling tasks
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
