Salary: £14.01 - £15.13 per hour + Shift Allowance + Yearly Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Yolk Recruitment are supporting a leading manufacturing organisation with the recruitment of Production Operatives to join their growing manufacturing team in Cardiff.

This is what you'll be doing
As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting and operating production machinery within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Carrying out machine changeovers to support different production runs.
- Producing high-quality products whilst meeting production targets and quality standards.
- Monitoring machine performance, including speeds and feeds where required.
- Inspecting finished components using measuring and gauging equipment.
- Reading and working from technical drawings and production instructions.
- Identifying faults or production issues and reporting these promptly.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with Health & Safety procedures.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure production schedules are achieved.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production department.

The experience you'll bring
- Previous experience within a Production Operative, Machine Operative or Manufacturing Operative role.
- Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Experience carrying out machine changeovers would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of quality standards and inspection processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or production documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work to production targets whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.

- Starting salary of £14.01 - £15.13 per hour, depending on shift pattern.
- Shift premiums of 10% for afternoons and 30% for night shifts where applicable.
- Annual company bonus of up to 10% of salary based on company performance.
- Four structured pay progression levels.

Available Shift Patterns
Shift Option 1
Rotating 3-shift pattern:
- Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Week 3: 10:00pm - 6:00am
Shift Option 2
Rotating 2-shift pattern:
- Week 1: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
