We are looking for a reliable, practical and quality-focused Production Operative to join our GRP Workshop at our Washington site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing high-quality products and is keen to develop their skills within a supportive manufacturing environment. Previous experience is not essential. We are particularly interested in individuals with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a commitment to working safely and accurately.
What You'll Be Doing

- Cutting, fabrication and assembly work
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Operating hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
- Working from job sheets, drawings and cutting lists
- Completing basic production and quality records
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation
- Identifying and reporting quality concerns or discrepancies
- Supporting colleagues across different workshop functions as required
What We're Looking For
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- A practical, hands-on approach to work
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to measure and work accurately from dimensions
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- The ability to follow instructions and ask questions when unsure
- A flexible and team-oriented attitude
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
