Production Operative

Kinetic are recruiting for multiple Production Operatives to join a global printing and packaging business on a short-term temporary basis, until the end of December. The role will involve supporting the production team with a range of labelling, packing and general production line duties, helping to ensure products are prepared and packed efficiently and to the required standards. Working hours will mainly be on a 2pm to 10pm shift, although flexibility is required as there may also be some 6am to 2pm, and 10pm to 6am shifts where needed.
Role:
- Carrying out labelling and packing of products in line with company standards and production targets
- Supporting general production operations as required
- Ensuring products are correctly labelled, packed and prepared for dispatch
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping
- Assisting with general production duties as required
- Working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment is preferred
- Experience of packing, labelling or similar production work would be advantageous
- Be flexible to work across different departments and shifts
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
- Comfortable working within an industrial environment
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
