Production Operator
Location: Manningtree
Salary: GBP28,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 3-Shift Rotation (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM / 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM / 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About The Role
We are a leading manufacturer looking for a motivated and driven Production Operator to join our team in Manningtree. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our production lines, ensuring our high-quality finished goods, bespoke mixes, and internal products are made to specification and delivered on time.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Line Operations: Run production lines at optimum speed, ensuring all products are made to a high standard, while assisting with the assembly and packing of goods.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with production planners, supervisors, and fellow operators to ensure schedules are met and training is up to date.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with Health and Safety directives and Food Regulations.
- Hygiene Standards: Keep the production area clean and tidy, actively adhering to a clean as you go policy and assisting with site cleaning as required.
- Quality Control: Complete all required paperwork accurately and carry out timely Food Safety Quality Checks.
- Reporting: Promptly report any hazards, near-misses, unsafe conditions, or procedural breaches to your supervisor or line manager.

What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience or strong knowledge of Food Manufacturing.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to build great working relationships within a team.
- Pace and Pressure: The ability to work well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet time-critical deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Independence: A self-motivated individual who works excellently both with a team and without supervision.
- Safety Mindset: A strong awareness of health and safety and how it affects your workplace.

Desirable (But Not Essential)
- A valid Reach Truck licence.
- Prior Manual Handling training.
- Basic computer skills.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
