About The Role
The Production Operative position in Northampton offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Thursday, 07:30-16:30, and Fridays until 12:30. Remuneration ranges between £12.71 and £13.50 per hour, dependent on experience. We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Northampton. This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced production environment, helping to ensure products are completed to a high standard before being dispatched to customers.
Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out visual checks on finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify any faults, defects, or issues and report them to the relevant team member.
- Perform basic product finishing tasks where required.
- Support production processes and ensure work is completed accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Follow company quality procedures and health & safety guidelines.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
