Production Operative

Yolk Recruitment are supporting a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Cardiff with the recruitment of a Production Operative. This is a great opportunity to join a busy production environment where you'll play an important role in keeping manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
As a Production Operative, you'll be responsible for operating machinery and equipment, carrying out quality checks and helping the team achieve daily production targets. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, practical and keen to develop their experience within a manufacturing or production environment. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, making this a good opportunity for someone looking to build a career in manufacturing.

Key responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow production procedures, work instructions and health and safety guidelines.
- Monitor production processes and ensure products meet required quality standards.
- Carry out routine checks on machinery and finished products.
- Identify and report production, quality or equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Work towards daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Complete production records and paperwork accurately.
- Work effectively as part of a wider production team.
- Follow company policies, procedures and safe working practices at all times.
