About The Role

As a Production Operative in Ledbury, you will join a manufacturer of frozen goods, earning £13.00 per hour on a full-time, temporary ongoing contract. Your week will alternate between morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, within a chilled setting maintained between 0°C and 4°C.

Responsibilities involve:

  • Selecting stock from assigned areas
  • Replenishing supplies to sustain workflow
  • Packing items with precision
  • Checking product weights meet required specifications
  • Carrying out quality control checks to company standards
  • Labelling products with the correct batch codes and information
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Following food safety, quality and health & safety procedures at all times

This role suits individuals comfortable in cold conditions who can manage physical tasks. Prior experience in production or warehousing is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided. You will contribute directly to the efficiency of a busy operation.

The Role

Pertemps are currently recruiting for Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established manufacturer of frozen products based in Ledbury. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production team on a temporary ongoing basis, with full-time hours and weekly rotating shifts. Due to the nature of the products, you will be working in a chilled environment with temperatures typically between 0°C and 4°C.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in chilled conditions (0°C to 4°C).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible to work the weekly rotating shift pattern.

Hours of Work

Weekly Rotating Monday to Friday Shifts:

  • Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00 (37.5 hours)
  • Week 2: 14:00 - 22:30 (40 hours)

Pay Rate:

  • £13.00 per hour
