Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Production Operative - Bakery to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Witham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a bakery and food production environment, working alongside an experienced team and assisting with the production of a range of high-quality bakery and patisserie products.
Flexibility with working hours is required, particularly during busy periods.
The Role
Working as part of the bakery production team, you will assist with the preparation and production of products, ensuring everything is produced to the required quality and hygiene standards.

Duties Will Include
- Assisting with the preparation and production of bakery and patisserie products
- Weighing and measuring ingredients accurately
- Following recipes and production instructions
- Preparing ingredients for the baking process
- Assisting experienced Bakers with day-to-day production
- Using bakery equipment and machinery following training
- Checking products meet the required quality standards
- Packing and preparing finished products
- Maintaining a clean and organised production area
- Following strict food hygiene and health and safety procedures
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Supporting the wider production team where required
About You
Previous experience within food production, bakery, manufacturing or a similar environment would be advantageous, although this is not essential as training will be provided.
