Production Operative - Aylesbury Dairy
As a Production Operative at our flagship Aylesbury Dairy, you will play an integral part in the production of our fantastic dairy products. Our Aylesbury site is the largest fresh milk site in Europe where we produce for most of the UK retailers under their own brand. The site is the same size footprint as 30 Wembley Stadiums!
We are looking for somebody to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis, covering both day and night 12-hour shifts. You will monitor the running of our production lines ensuring key targets are achieved.
About the job
- Daily operation of container filling/labelling machinery safely and efficiently to produce top-quality products.
- Report and/or correct safety issues. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment and surroundings.
- Perform quality inspections on materials and finished product. Quality checks to include codes, seals, and weights.
- Responsible for proper and accurate product/package/code changes.
- Perform all filling/labelling operator CIP duties and surface foaming with mechanical cleaning for all other areas in accordance with specified cleaning schedules.
- Perform simple preventative maintenance, i.e., clean, inspect, lubricate, and tighten.
- Monitor equipment and process performance and correct/raise issues before they become problems.

What you’ll need to be successful in the role
- We are looking for a motivated team player, who can work on their own initiative and knows about supply chain processes and sticking to health and safety rules.
- Having previous experience of working in a FMCG or related company would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- You must be a strong communicator, who is able to prioritise tasks in a timely and organised manner and contribute to regular department meetings.
- You’ll be a strong performer with a good attendance record and a willingness to learn further skills.
