Description

Impact Recruitment are working with a well-established, family-run manufacturing business to recruit a Production Operative to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for handling materials, packing and labelling finished products, carrying out basic quality checks and maintaining a safe and organised production environment.

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-3:00pm; Friday, 7:30am-12:30pm

Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire

Salary: £12.71 - £13.20 an hour

Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Handle raw materials, finished products and other materials safely.
  • Pack and label finished products accurately and efficiently.
  • Carry out manual handling and general production duties as required.
  • Follow production instructions, processes and company procedures.
  • Complete basic production records, paperwork and administrative tasks.
  • Carry out basic quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery following appropriate training.
  • Assist with stock movements and general site duties when required.
  • Report any hazards, incidents or equipment issues promptly.
  • Complete all required training and follow site-specific procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
  • Reliable, hardworking and dependable approach to work.
  • Good attention to detail, particularly when packing, labelling and handling products.
  • Comfortable completing basic paperwork and production records.
  • Able to work safely and follow health and safety procedures.
  • Good organisational skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and develop practical skills.
  • A valid forklift licence would also be advantageous.
