Production Operative (Bulk Mixer)

Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £29,160.00 per annum (FTE - 44hrs p/w)

Responsibilities

  • Operating the production line and producing high quality E-liquids in a fast paced environment.
  • Packing goods ready for shipment.
  • Assemble product parts by hand.
  • Prepare machinery before production and carry out testing to make sure all is in working order.
  • Complying with our ISO 9001 standards at all times.
  • Use lifting equipment.
  • Ensure relevant records and paperwork are completed on time.
  • Assist with the bulk manufacturing of concentrates and mixing of raw materials, in accordance with approved formulations and batch records, ensuring that:
    • All raw materials are accurately weighed and verified before manufacture and in line with daily production schedules.
    • All manufacturing activities comply with GMP, SOPs and Health & Safety requirements.
    • Monitor mixing processes to ensure product consistency and quality.
    • Operate, set up and clean mixing equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Ensure all batches are correctly labelled and fully traceable.
    • Meet or exceed individual and departmental targets.
    • Wear appropriate safety protection at all times and ensure compliance with the Health & Safety policy and procedure.
  • Administration & Stock Control: Complete all necessary production-related administration accurately and on time, including maintaining relevant records and paperwork, supporting stock takes, accurately recording stock movements, and ensuring materials and finished goods are correctly put away and stored in their designated locations.
  • General Duties: Undertake any other reasonable duties, tasks or responsibilities appropriate to the level and nature of the Production Operative role, as required to support the effective and efficient operation of the department and wider business.

  • Good English language, verbal & written skills and able to follow instructions.
  • Experience with working on a fast-paced production line desirable.
  • Able to take instruction and follow procedures diligently.
  • Good understanding of basic Health & Safety.
  • A respectful and valuable team member.
