Production Operative | JLR Solihull

Salary: £16.39 - £22.83 / hour + Shift Premiums & Overtime

Location: Solihull (Great public transport links & free parking)

Contract: Temporary with potential Temp-to-Perm opportunities based on performance

The Role

Working as part of a supportive, close-knit team, you will help assemble iconic vehicles on the production line.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

  • Supporting the assembly process following clear, standardised work steps.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace.
  • Taking pride in the quality of your work and looking for ways to continuously improve processes.
  • Collaborating with friendly colleagues who have your back every step of the way.

Don't worry if this sounds new to you. You'll receive full, comprehensive training and ongoing support from experienced team members.

Shift Patterns & Hours

Flexibility is key. Shifts run Monday to Friday on a 3-week rotation (Mornings, Afternoons, and Nights):

  • Week 1 (Mornings): Mon-Thu 06:00-13:30 | Fri 06:00-12:00 (£16.39 - £18.64/hr)
  • Week 2 (Afternoons): Mon-Thu 13:30-21:00 | Fri 12:00-18:00 (£19.67 - £22.37/hr)
  • Week 3 (Nights): Mon-Thu 21:00-06:00 (£20.08 - £22.83/hr)

Note: You must be able to work all 3 shift rotations and be open to overtime when required.
