Operating from our production facility in Bolton, Fazila Foods proudly supplies over 450 SPAR stores across the north of England as a proud member of the James Hall & Co. Ltd. family.

Contract type: Temporary (6-month FTC)
Hours of work: 2pm till 10pm Monday - Friday (occasional Sunday working required)
Location: Fazila Foods, Britannia Business Park, 27 Waters Meeting Rd, Britannia Way, Bolton BL2 2HH
Pay rate: £12.75 (21+)

About the Role

As a Production Operative, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day packing and assembly of finished products, including both frozen and chilled goods. You’ll work with a variety of machinery and follow hygiene and safety procedures to keep production running smoothly.

Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing

  • Packing and assembling finished products in trays and boxes.
  • Boxing up, stacking, and palletising products ready for despatch.
  • Operating different packing machinery such as sealers and metal detectors (training provided).
  • Working safely and efficiently in a chilled environment.
  • Performing area and equipment clean-downs during changeovers and at the end of each shift.
  • Following all company hygiene rules and PPE standards.
  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene meet the required industry standards.
  • Completing and signing off daily and weekly hygiene schedules.
  • Carrying out pre-start checks and complying with health and safety requirements.
  • Managing heavy workloads in a high-volume food production environment.

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
