Production operative – Kingdom People
Location: Middleton - Stake Hill
Job: Production operatives needed.
Shift Pattern
- Summer DAYS -Production Operatives: 07:30am to 5:30pm (4 days per week)
- Winter DAYS -Production Operatives: 07:30am to 5:30pm (5 days per week)
- Summer NIGHTS -Production Operatives: 8:00PM to 6:00AM (5 days per week)
- Winter NIGHTS -Production Operatives: 07:30am to 6:00AM (5 days per week)
Pay Rates
- Production Operatives Days: £12.71
- Production Operatives Nights: £13.71
Overtime may be available during busy periods and is paid 150% of basic rate.
Kingdom People is recruiting for production operatives to work at our client site in Middleton (M24 2RW). The company is a leading manufacturer of bedding products.

Role Description
Various roles are available.
Main Responsibilities May Include
- Packing cushions and quilts
- Feeding fibres and filings materials into textile covers on production lines.
- Compressing finished products and packing/wrapping them according to customer orders
- Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently.
- Working across different production lines
- Performing repetitive tasks throughout the day, with some roles requiring physical fitness and stamina due to the nature of the products.
- Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Positive attitude and good timekeeping skills.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and managers
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to details
- Health and Safety awareness
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is desirable.
