Salary: GBP26,277.50 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

Location: Paddock Wood

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment in Paddock Wood.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to develop their skills within a supportive team. Full training will be provided, with excellent opportunities for career progression and further development.

The Role

As a Production Operator, Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Labelling, packing and preparing products for dispatch
  • Working to production and dispatch schedules
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Following Health and Safety procedures and reporting any issues
  • Working in line with quality and operating procedures
  • Supporting waste reduction initiatives
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
  • Contributing ideas and feedback to improve day-to-day processes
  • Working effectively as part of a team while also taking responsibility for your own workload

Candidate Profile

  • Previous manufacturing/production experience
  • Forklift licence/experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
  • Hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic
  • Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
  • A good team player with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable carrying out physically demanding tasks
  • Numerate and literate with good basic IT skills
