Production Operatives (Nights) - Tewkesbury
Production Operatives (Nights) required in Tewkesbury, working within a factory environment. Monday to Friday permanent night shift (22:00 - 06:00) offering £16.58 per hour (post training).
This role offers an immediate start with genuine permanent opportunities and full on-the-job training. We are recruiting for multiple Production Operator positions, including Shopfloor Operators and Bonding Operators, with all training provided. Please note: initial training will be completed on rotating day and mid shifts before moving onto full-time nights.

The Role
Working as a Production Operative, you will join one of several production areas within the factory. Opportunities are available for both Shopfloor Operators, supporting the core manufacturing process, and Bonding Operators, working within a specialist production area. No previous experience in these specific roles is required, as full training will be provided.

You will be operating machinery, monitoring production processes, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards while maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within a busy manufacturing and production environment
- Operating and monitoring automated production equipment
- Supporting production processes as either a Shopfloor Operator or Bonding Operator
- Operating and assisting with high-tech equipment, including CNC machines and laser imaging machinery
- Handling components and materials throughout the production process
- Carrying out quality inspections and recording production data
- Working safely around machinery and chemicals while following strict health and safety procedures
- Identifying and reporting production issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Supporting the wider production team as required
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a production environment.
- Previous factory or manufacturing experience is essential
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
- Ability to problem-solve and work effectively under pressure
- Comfortable working around machinery and chemicals
- Reliable and committed to working permanent night shifts
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

Shift Pattern & Pay
- Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00 - £16.58 per hour
- Training Period: Weekly rotating day and mid shifts:
- Day Shift: 06:00 - 14:00 - £12.75 per hour
- Mid Shift: 14:00 - 22:30 - £15.30 per hour
- Overtime: Paid at 1.25x after 40 hours worked
