We’re looking for skilled and motivated individuals to join our production team as Production Operators.

About the Role

As a Production Operative in our Production team, you’ll use your technical expertise to produce high-quality printed materials, from perfectly stitched books to large-format posters, ensuring precision and excellence every time.

What We Offer

  • Salary starting dependent on experience:
    • Starting at £13.45 per hour (approx. £29,724 per year) for 8:30 hour 3 week rota shifts, 42.5 hours per week
    • (approx. £29,986 per year) for 12.15 hour Dupont/continental shifts 42.87 hours per week
  • Weekly pay with overtime opportunities at time and a third (1.33%)
  • Permanent and temporary contracts available

Shift Patterns

DuPont shift pattern, which is a 24/7 rotating schedule designed to provide continuous coverage while ensuring regular time off.

Shifts rotate between 12-hour day and night shifts.

The pattern runs over a 4-week cycle, giving a balance of work and rest.

Typically, you’ll work 3 or 4 consecutive shifts, followed by several days off.

Over the cycle, this results in an average of 42 hours per week.

The schedule includes a 7-day rest period once every 4 weeks.

Example 4-week rotation:

  • Week 1: 4 night shifts, 3 days off
  • Week 2: 3 day shifts, 1 day off, 3 night shifts
  • Week 3: 3 days off, 4 day shifts
  • Week 4: 7 days off

And the 24/5 Week Rotating Shift Pattern – Monday to Friday

This role operates on a 24/5, three-week rotating shift pattern, working Monday to Friday. You’ll rotate between morning, afternoon and night shifts each week:

  • Week 1: 6am–2pm
  • Week 2: 2pm–10pm
  • Week 3: 10pm–6am

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to work independently in a busy, physical environment
  • A strong team player with good communication skills
  • Flexibility to support the team during busy periods
  • Basic to good PC skills
  • Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards
  • Willingness to work either 8-hour or 12-hour shifts depending on role

Our state-of-the-art 165,000 square foot facility is just a 15-minute drive from either the M1 or A1M and boasts ample free on-site parking, the facility is also located on a major bus route which is just a few minutes away from the train stations of Mexborough, Swinton and Wombwell.
