What You Do
- Setting up, operating, and monitoring the pallet mixing area, including removing shrink-wrap from finished goods and reassembling pallets with mixed products according to customer specifications.
- Monitoring the SAP ERP and DMC systems and making sure the automated sections of the pallet mixing area are running smoothly.
- Maintaining a strict "Clean-as-you-go" standard in accordance with food hygiene and safety procedures.
- Accurately logging production outputs, downtime reasons, and quality checks using digital interfaces and manual checksheets.
- Contributing actively to a Lean Manufacturing environment through 5S workplace organization and Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to lock-out procedures while also conducting regular visual and technical quality assurance inspections.
- Guiding and mentoring new recruits as a buddy to demonstrate standard operating procedures and best practices.

Who You Are
- You bring solid production experience, ideally within the fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrating a safety-first approach and familiarity with health and safety legislation is essential to your daily routine.
- Knowledge of 5S methodology allows you to effectively organize and optimize your workspace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to relay technical information clearly and document events thoroughly.
- Strong digital literacy with the capacity to pick up new software and systems with ease.
- An autonomous mindset paired with a strong willingness to learn ensures you can react quickly and make on-the-job decisions.
- Resilience and physical stamina are crucial for managing this physically demanding role and maintaining focus throughout twelve-hour shifts.
- High attention to detail combined with a strict dedication to HACCP hygiene standards guarantees our product quality remains uncompromised.

- Working time: 40 hours per week // 12 hours shifts // Mo-Sat
- Hourly rate: £14.18 plus 25% shift allowance
