Production Operative
As a Production Operative, you will work as part of a large production team handling and/or packing product. Duties include handle, prepare, and pack finished product into trays (Roll Pigs in Blankets).
Place of Work
Seasonal Sausage facility (CGR), Down Business Park, Downpatrick.
Hours of Work
We have roles on day or night shift. Roles offered are part-time or full-time until Christmas.
Day Shift
- Option 1: 7:00am - 5:00pm, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week
- Option 2: 7:00am - 2:00pm, 2, 3, 4 or 5 nights per week
Rate of pay: £13.23 per hour
Night Shift
- 6:00pm - 5:00am, 2 or 3 nights per week
Rate of pay: £13.73 per hour
Requirements
This is an entry-level role. Full training will be provided.
- Good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team with self-motivation and initiative.
- Proven high level of manual dexterity and speed.
- Previous experience within a food environment and an understanding of food hygiene and safety is desirable.
- All candidates should demonstrate core values at all times and have an understanding of and commitment to the Equality and Diversity Policy and ability to promote this day to day.
