About the Role
As part of our commitment to renewable energy, we are expanding our operations in Portadown and seeking a Production Operative to join our growing factory team. If you're passionate about renewable energy and want to make a positive impact on the world, this is the role for you!
As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process of our innovative heat pumps. You will be at the forefront of creating cutting-edge technology that helps homes and businesses reduce their carbon footprint while keeping them warm and cosy. With a strong attention to detail and working within a wider team, you will ensure that our heat pumps are produced to the highest quality standards.
What you'll do
- Assemble and manufacture heat pumps according to established procedures and guidelines
- Carry out various production tasks, including brazing, wiring and mechanical assembly
- Perform quality checks to ensure that all units meet our stringent quality standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and design, to provide feedback on product improvements and optimisation
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, following health and safety guidelines
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Contribute to a positive team environment by actively engaging in team meetings and sharing ideas

What you'll need
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- A team player mindset with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment
