Production Operative Required In Telford (Shropshire)
Are you an experienced Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Vehicle Fitter, Mechanical Assembler, Joiner, Mechanical Fitter or Workshop Operative looking for a new opportunity in Telford?

As a Production Operative, you'll be involved in transforming panel vans and cars into finished vehicles that meet exact customer specifications, strict quality standards, and delivery deadlines. With a structured day-shift pattern, ongoing training, and clear opportunities for progression, this role offers a rewarding route into a specialist and growing industry.
Based in the Stafford Park area of Telford. This role offers a starting pay rate of £13.00 per hour, rising to £13.50 per hour once fully trained. Working hours are 7:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00am-12:00pm on Friday, giving a 39-hour working week.
What You Will Do
- Follow fitting instructions precisely to complete vehicle conversions, including panel vans, cars and 4x4s as part of a dedicated team.
- Use a range of hand tools and apply mechanical assembly know-how to produce consistent, reliable work.
- Ensure every stage of work meets required specification, quality checks, and delivery timeframes.
- Work safely and take care with tools, equipment and vehicle components at all times.
- Maintain strong time management to support smooth production flow across each shift.
- Stay flexible in a Production Operative role, stepping in to support other fitting tasks when required.
