Pro-Found Recruitment Recruiting a Production Operative for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.
Production Operative Benefits
- Monday to Friday Rotating shifts – Days 6am to 2pm, afters 2pm to 10pm and Nights 10pm to 6am – these shifts rotate each week and Fridays are an early finish
- Hours: 39 hours per week paid weekly
- Start date: Monday 27th July 2026
- Pay Rates: £15.38 for days/afters & £16.36 for nights
- Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks based on performance, attendance and client requirement
- Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72

Production Operative Duties
- Working in the processing plant
- Operating and loading machinery
- Operating saws
- Quality checking of materials and finished products
- Packing and taping items
- Working with wood and heavy worktops
- Following instructions
- General Housekeeping
- Working on your own and as part of a team
- Minimum daily requirements (production targets)
Production Operative Criteria
- Previous assembly/production/manufacturing experience essential
- CNC or machine operating experienced preferred but not essential
- Able to work rotating shifts
- Hard working, reliable and punctual
- Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills
