Company Description

Our Flixton site is a large poultry production facility and one of the area’s biggest employers.

We have a diverse and multicultural workforce, with colleagues from many different backgrounds working together across the site.

The production environment is chilled and can be noisy. All necessary personal protective equipment will be provided, but we recommend wearing suitable layers underneath to remain comfortable.

Depending on business requirements, you may work within areas such as whole bird production, portions, primary processing, packing or other production departments. Full training will be provided for your allocated role.

Job Description

Are you looking for secure work with guaranteed hours, excellent benefits, development opportunities and the chance to build a long-term career with one of the area’s largest employers?

If the answer is YES, a General Operative position at 2 Sisters Food Group in Flixton could be for you.

All new starters will initially join us through our recruitment agency partner, Mach Recruitment, on a four-week temporary-to-permanent arrangement.

During your first four weeks, you’ll receive full training and support while your suitability for permanent employment is assessed. This will be based on your attendance, conduct and work performance. The expectations will be clearly explained during the recruitment process and at the start of your assignment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
