TEMPORARY PRODUCTION OPERATOR
LONG TERM / ONGOING CONTRACT BASED LIVINGSTON
SALARY £12.79 / HOUR
37.5 HOURS PER WEEK PLUS FLEXITIME AND BENEFITS
Based in Livingston, GRW Talent’s client Hyaltech (part of the Carl Zeiss Group) is a leading manufacturer of hyaluronic acid injectables used in ophthalmic & orthopedic medical procedures. The company holds itself to the highest standards of integrity, quality, and excellence. Being an ISO 13485 approved company, Hyaltech Ltd, has contributed to the healthcare industry for over 25 years.
Hyaltech has asked GRW Talent to source, payroll and employ a Temporary Production Operator on a long term / ongoing contractual basis. Working in the packing area, you will be on a day shift Monday to Friday shift pattern – 7am-4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am -2pm on a Friday. A one hour paid lunch break is also included.
Reporting to the Packing Supervisor, the successful candidate will assist and support the execution of operations within the production site in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, GMP and GDP to ensure an effectively running production.

The role holder will work proactively in close collaboration with Quality Assurance and other relevant departments, ensuring all health and safety/COSHH regulations are adhered to.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carry out packing procedures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Accurately complete all batch record documentation in accordance with GDP and GMP principles.
- Immediately report faults/equipment downtime within the functional area to the immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
- Clear and concise communication of all non-conformities or other quality-related issues to the immediate supervisor and/or quality assurance department.
- Ensure that the work area is kept clean and tidy at all times and that all required tools and resources are available within the functional area.
Ideally you have previously worked as a Production Operator / Manufacturing Operator in a high quality volume led facility. We would be especially keen to hear from anyone with previous medical devices, biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical, semiconductor/optoelectronic or FMCG production experience. The candidate must be numerate and literate with a keen eye for detail, able to gown appropriately, have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

This is a very stable role within a growing and busy production setting. Candidates can expect to work in a great culture and benefit from a potentially long-term engagement (some temporary staff have been in role over 5 years). Candidates must be prepared to work a fixed dayshift Mon-Fri and you will be paid weekly at £12.79 per hour. Paid holidays, pension and flexi-time working can be taken as a given. You will be payrolled and employed via GRW Talent Ltd.
