About the Role

The Production Operator will be responsible for set up, changeover, washout, asset care and general operation of injection moulding, mixing or filling and packaging equipment to consume the production plan whilst ensuring adherence to safety and quality requirements, always. To perform any other reasonable tasks or responsibilities that relate to the production operator role.

Performance will be monitored and measured in the areas of safety participation, quality control process adherence, Line performance (OEE1) and engagement in key events.

Responsibilities

  • Work safely at all times, ensuring all manufacturing activities meet quality, safety and GMP standards.
  • Set up, operate, change over and monitor production equipment in line with operating procedures.
  • Perform quality checks and follow standard operating procedures to ensure products meet specification.
  • Identify, escalate and help resolve safety, quality or operational issues to support continuous production.
  • Maintain production equipment and work areas in line with asset care and housekeeping standards.
  • Support and coach colleagues and agency workers to follow safe working practices and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality and reliability.
  • Participate actively in shift handovers, team meetings, training activities and other day-to-day operational communications.

  • Experience operating manufacturing equipment in line with quality standards and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience working safely and complying with health and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
