We are now looking for a motivated and ambitious Production Operator to join our high-performing team in Eastfield, Scarborough on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What you will do

You will work as part of a shift team to ensure smooth operation throughout all our production processes.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Adhering to UPM Safety Principles, Values, ISO Standards, and Standard Work
  • Operating processes throughout our production operation
  • Ensuring product and customer order specifications are met
  • Ensuring safety, process, and quality issues are communicated promptly to the Leading Hand
  • Supporting continual improvement and collaboration within and across cells actively
  • Ensuring effective handover of all the relevant information at shift changeover

Working schedule

  • Monday – Friday 3 Shift Pattern
  • Week 1: 6am-2pm
  • Week 2: 2pm-10pm
  • Week 3: 10pm-6am

Who you are

  • You are ambitious and keen to develop, with a clear interest in progressing into a leadership role
