Steatite Antennas is looking for a Production Operative to join our growing team in Leominster. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist engineering business that designs and manufactures world-class antenna systems used in some of the world's most demanding environments.

This role is more than just production work—it offers a genuine opportunity to develop into a Production Technician through structured training and hands-on experience.

What You Will Be Doing

Working within our production laboratory, you'll support the manufacture of our products by:

  • Preparing materials and components for production.
  • Building mechanical sub-assemblies.
  • Assembling higher-volume products.
  • Working with adhesives, sealants and coaxial cable preparation.
  • Using a variety of hand tools safely and accurately.
  • Reading engineering drawings (full training provided).
  • Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections.
  • Completing production documentation.
  • Supporting other production areas, including Stores and Packing, when required.

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for someone with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.

You will ideally have:

  • Good practical and manual skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A positive and reliable approach to work.
  • The ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • A desire to build a long-term career within manufacturing.

Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
