Pay rates: 12.71 per hour
Schedule: Shifts starting at 5am
About the Role
As a Production Operator, you will work in hide preparation and in the yard. You will be working in an environment where cattle are slaughtered, and you will be working with animal carcasses. Therefore, you must be comfortable and ready to work in this type of environment.

Responsibilities
Hide Duties
- Transferring hides from slaughter hall to hide shed
- Preparing and storing the hides to specifications
- Curing hides
- Preparing and dispatching hide orders
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is maintained and accurate
Yard Duties
- Transferring innards/entrails from slaughter hall to relevant waste areas
- Supporting with deliveries and stock exchange
- Loading and unloading materials/deliveries

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Knife skills (essential)
- Previous experience working within a similar field
- Strong organisational skills
