Job Title: Production Operator
Office: Letchworth

Role Summary:
Working within the Operations Department, help deliver products on time, within cost and to the required quality standards to on-systems customers. Take ownership for own quality of work, the ability to work as part of a team or own initiative and proactively contribute. Engage in the company improvement projects, with a strong awareness for health and safety.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Electronic assembly
- Soldering
- Surface mount Assembly (not essential)
- Cable and wiring assembly
- Mechanical assembly

General appreciation for materials processing, goods receipt, despatch, calibration, maintenance of equipment.
Work Environment:
Production Shop floor, Warehouse and Office areas.
Qualifications and Skills:
- JSTD-001 qualified
- Computer literate
- GCSE maths and English
- Ability to work as part of team but also unsupervised
- Desire to learn and progress
- Good time keeping
- Ability to follow work instructions
Full training will be provided and there are opportunities to progress through the company and gain an appreciation of the different areas of business. There will also be the opportunity to gain higher-level qualifications through day release or alternative agreed suitable arrangements.
