Join the Future of Malts Production at Diageo on L36

L36 is currently undergoing a major capital investment programme to become a fully automated malts line capable of producing up to 200 bottles per minute.

Following the success of Phase 1 of the programme—completed in H2 FY25 and already delivering fantastic results on our Diageo scorecard—we are now full speed ahead into Phase 2: Our next set of automated machinery, including auto-cartoning and auto-packing systems has just recently been installed.

This investment will:

  • Significantly improve site efficiency
  • Reduce repetitive manual handling

About the Role

As an Equipment Owner, you will be part of a high-performing packaging team working across manual and automated processes to deliver world-class performance on L36.

You will play a key role in:

  • Operating, monitoring, and supporting automated machinery
  • Carrying out changeovers, basic maintenance, and quality assurance checks
  • Maintaining exceptional health and safety and manufacturing excellence standards
  • Recording data using business systems to support performance and compliance
  • Collaborating with colleagues across shifts to ensure consistent production results
  • Taking ownership of line KPIs and driving continuous improvement
  • Supporting problem-solving activities and implementing corrective actions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
