The Role

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team in Middlewich.

This role involves:

  • Ensuring the efficient and timely packing, loading, and dispatch of goods.
  • Maintaining high standards of documentation and safety.
  • Contributing to the accurate assembly of customer orders.
  • Upholding health & safety regulations.
  • Supporting the maintenance of stock levels for both construction and raw materials.
  • Performing general housekeeping duties to keep production areas clean and safe.
  • Handling hazardous goods in compliance with transport regulations.

Core Responsibilities

Efficient Operations

  • Responsible for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure the efficient and timely packing of goods.
  • Tipping and loading vehicles and containers.
  • Accurate allocation, assembly, and loading of customer orders.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintaining standard documentation for integrity and traceability.
  • Adherence to Health & Safety regulations and processes.

Inventory & Safety

  • Preparing customer orders and stock reconciliation.
  • Correct use and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Assisting with safe loading/dispatch of orders and unloading raw materials.

Environmental & Housekeeping

  • Maintaining clean and tidy production areas.
  • Ensuring all hazardous goods are packed/shipped in accordance with transport regulations.
  • Reporting all safety concerns and enhancing procedures.

Requirements & Skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in a production, warehouse, or logistics environment.
  • Practical knowledge of Dangerous Goods safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for extended periods.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail for documentation, safety, and order picking.

Soft & Technical Skills

  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Strong ability to follow procedures and maintain accuracy.
  • Organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Forklift license (strategic advantage).
