Are you organised, reliable and passionate about food? Lina Stores is looking for a Production Packer to join our team at Lina Cucina in Earlsfield.

Our Lina Cucina production kitchen in Earlsfield is at the heart of our food production, where our team prepares, produces and packs a range of fresh Italian products, including pasta and sauces, for our restaurants and other locations.

About The Role - Production Packer

As a Production Packer, you will play an important role in ensuring our food products are prepared, packed and presented to the highest standards.

You will be responsible for accurately weighing, portioning, packing and labelling food products, while following strict food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures. You will also help organise products for delivery and maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment.

Packing Operations

  • Accurately portion and weigh food products according to specified quantities.
  • Pack food products carefully, ensuring packaging is securely sealed and preventing contamination and cross-contamination.
  • Label products accurately with the correct information, including ingredients, allergens and use-by dates.
  • Organise and prepare packed products for delivery, ensuring orders are correctly packed and ready for dispatch.
  • Clean and sanitise work surfaces, packing equipment and utensils regularly.
  • Wear appropriate PPE and follow all food safety and health & safety procedures.

General Duties

  • Assist with receiving, checking and storing deliveries.
  • Maintain an organised storage area and ensure correct stock rotation.
  • Keep the packing and production areas clean, tidy and organised.
  • Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of packing equipment.
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain an efficient workflow and meet production requirements.
  • Support the wider Lina Cucina team with other production and kitchen duties when required.

Who We're Looking For

You will be:

  • Meticulous when weighing, packing and labelling products, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Food safety conscious and able to follow hygiene and allergen procedures at all times.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work efficiently in a busy production environment.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods and lift and move products when required.
  • A strong team player who is happy to support colleagues and get involved wherever needed.
  • Positive, hardworking and committed to maintaining high standards.
  • Previous experience in food production, packing, catering or a professional kitchen is desirable but not essential.
