Location: Redditch

Job Summary
As the production planner you will oversee all planning/scheduling and labour planning for the high-pressure business. The candidate must have a broad range of skills on Excel, including the use of macros/formula and have a good numerical mind. Control of production routing and raising of production paperwork.

Responsibilities
- Work with Production to meet customer despatch dates
- Demand Planning along with Labour capacity planning
- Raising & kitting of production paperwork
- Attend Daily Shortage Meetings with Supervisors
- Communication and coordination with production and purchasing team
- Continuous improvement/ LEAN methods desired
- Knowledge of KPIs & ability to comply reports to present to Management team
- A strong team player / Establishes, Monitors, and communicates well with all areas of the business
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar role
- Level 3 NVQ/ A level (CIPS/APICS) or above
- Strong Analytical, Computer, Communication, and writing skills (Typing)
- Strong data capabilities

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
This role will be based onsite at Redditch.
Key Competencies
- Strong experience on Excel
- SAP Experience Advantageous
- Experience on MRP Purchasing
- Experience with Production Planning / Capacity Planning
